The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 surely your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
