The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
