1/2 Hizb 45

۞ "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped- 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 They will submit to questioning then, 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith! 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 For we had led you astray. In fact we ourselves were astray." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Even so We do with the sinners; 34 For when it was said unto them, There is no Allah save Allah, they were scornful 35 and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 Save the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 No headiness there shall be therein, nor shall they be therewith inebriated. 47 And with them will be mates of modest gaze, most beautiful of eye, 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 Then they will advance unto each other, mutually questioning. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 He will say, "Would you [care to] look?" 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition! 56 And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I too had been of those haled forth (to doom). 57 Are we not then to die 58 Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished? 59 Truly, this is a great victory!" 60 For the like of this then let the workers work. 61 Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 And verily they must eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 then in addition to it they shall have a draught of boiling water to drink; 67 Then to Hell they will surely be returned. 68 Verily they found their fathers gone astray. 69 so they are rushing to follow in their footsteps. 70 And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray. 71 And We had already sent among them warners. 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 74
