۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 saying: 'You used to come to us from the right hand' 28 Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers; 29 “And we did not have any control over you; but in fact you yourselves were rebellious.” 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32 And verily, on that Day they all will share in their common suffering. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 And said: "Should we abandon our gods for the sake of an insane poet?" 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 (They will be told): “You shall taste the grievous chastisement. 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 Except for God's sincere servants; 40 Those will have a provision determined - 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 White, a pleasure unto the drinkers. 46 There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith. 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 after we die and become dust and bones, we shall be brought to judgement?'" 53 And he will reply: 'Are you looking down (into Hell)' 54 Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He will say to him: -- By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 If it had not been for the blessing of my Lord, I would also have been taken to Hell." 57 Are we not then to die 58 "Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?" 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 Which We have reserved as punishment for evil-doers? 63 Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell. 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of Shayatin (devils); 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 Then after it, indeed for them is the drink of boiling hot water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 But they make haste (to follow) in their footsteps. 70 Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned! 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74
