3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 and he turned to their idols and asked them, "Do you eat? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 "When God has created you and what you make?" 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
