3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
