Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you – therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
