Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
