3/4 Hizb 45

And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was on the self-same way (as Noah). 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 [And he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Bestow upon me the gift of [a son who shall be] one of the righteous!" 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113
