۞ O mankind! ye are needers unto Allah, and Allah! He is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy 15 If He wills, He can take you away and bring other creatures. 16 this is not a great matter for Allah. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 And the blind and the seeing are not alike 19 And neither are darkness and brightness! 20 Nor are (alike) the shade and the sun's heat. 21 Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make any that He wills to hear; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. 22 You are no more than a warner. 23 Lo! We have sent thee with the Truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner hath passed among them. 24 If they call you a liar, so had those before them called their apostles liars, who had come to them with clear proofs, scriptures and the splendent Book. 25 In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! 26
