3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 Most surely this is a manifest trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
