3/4 Hizb 45

And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood-god beside Allah that ye desire? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When they had surrendered, and he flung him upon his brow, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!" Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
