3/4 Hizb 45

Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 [And he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Bestow upon me the gift of [a son who shall be] one of the righteous!" 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
