And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
