Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
