And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
