We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
