Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
