We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
