We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
