And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
