And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
