And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
