We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
