And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
