We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
