In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 and place it in a secure place 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
