And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
