Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
