We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
