We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
