We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and by night.
