We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
