And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
