We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
