Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
