And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night.
