THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
