Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 when he ran away to the laden ship 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 Then the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been of those who hallow Him, 143 he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 God hath begotten. Verily they are the liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 They used to say before: 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
