Hizb 46
< random >
And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 and [this time] they believed [in him] and so We allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them? 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 God hath begotten. Verily they are the liars. 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 Produce, then, that divine writ of yours, if you are speaking the truth! 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 What though they would say, 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 we would have certainly been sincere servants of God". 169 Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know. 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 But then, once it alights upon them, hapless will be the awakening of those who were warned [to no avail]! 177 And leave them for a time. 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Hallowed be thine Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they ascribe! 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
