Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 can lure away from God any 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 They say, 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
