Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 And take in thine hand a handful of twigs, and strike therewith, and break not thine oath. Verily We! We found him patient. How excellent a bondman! Verily he was oft-returning. 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 #NAME? 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 And they will Say: what aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the evil ones? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64
