And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 Remember also Our servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- men of might they and of vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 All this (is for them); so let them taste boiling water and pus, 57 And other similar torments. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 And they say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see the men whom we thought were evil?” 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64
