Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
