The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
