SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
