Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 Strengthen my back by him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He replied: 'Moses, your request is granted. 36 And certainly We bestowed on you a favor at another time; 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
