Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 until you visit the graves. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
