Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
