Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
